Guardian Angel Program

"I absolutely believe in the power of tithing and giving back. My own experience about all the blessings I've had in my life is that the more I give away, the more that comes back. That is the way life works, and that is the way energy works ." - Ken Blanchard

At HSHS St. John’s Hospital, quality care and compassion go hand in hand. Our patients often express their gratitude for this excellent care in a variety of ways – through their kind words, smiles, letters of thanks and financial contributions to St. John’s Foundation.

The Guardian Angel Grateful Patient Program was created to provide patients and their families with a meaningful way to express their appreciation for exceptional, quality care and service. Monetary gifts of both large and small amounts help us to help others while also providing a powerful testimony to the significance and value of such care.

Because of generous gifts we are able to perform medical miracles every day. From purchasing state-of-the-art equipment to providing continuing education for nursing and medical staff, your contribution helps to enhance the outstanding level of care our community has come to expect from St. John’s.

If you have experienced exemplary care and wish to show your appreciation, rather than buying a token of appreciation, please consider making a gift to St. John’s Foundation in someone’s honor. The investment you make today will benefit our community for years to come and a card and Guardian Angel pin will be presented to the recipient to notify him/her of your kind gift.

Gifts from grateful patients and families:

  • Advance and support health care delivery and patient care
  • Benefit current programs and services at St. John’s Hospital
  • Support innovative clinical education programs
  • Assist with the cost of patient care services not covered by medical insurance
  • Underwrite the cost of new equipment and technology
  • Benefit research activity
  • And so much more!
