In an emergency, seconds matter. That's why we provide real time medical oversight and direction using evidence-based practices to paramedics when they're in the field treating patients and can activate special alert processes for heart attack and stroke patients.

Prairie Heart Institute at St. John’s Hospital created the STAT Heart Program to quickly treat diseased arteries. STAT Heart is a partnership with community hospital emergency rooms and ground and air transport.

St. John’s is also received the Gold Seal of Approval for Primary Stroke Centers by The Joint Commission for complying with demonstrated standards that have been proven to improve outcomes for patients.
